The film stars Jr NTR in the lead role, with reports suggesting that actress Rukmini Vasanth is playing the female lead. Initially, the film was expected to release in 2026. However, due to the grand scale of production and extensive filming schedules, reports now suggest that Dragon is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 11, 2027. The movie will reportedly release in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, making it a major pan-India event film.
Given Prashanth Neel’s track record and Jr NTR’s massive fan base, industry experts expect Dragon to become one of the biggest box-office releases of 2027.
